Sony has no plans to release new 8K TVs

More and more TVs with 8K resolution are appearing on the market.

Sony introduced its Z9K model with 75″ and 85″ diagonals back in 2022 and sales have shown that the general public is not yet interested in such TVs.

Here's What We Know

The Japanese manufacturer said that in the future it may return to the production of 8K TVs, but you should not expect such novelties from him in the near future.

For now, Sony is selling off the remaining stock of the Z9K and offers customers a new line of 4K Bravia, which includes three models with different characteristics and price.

Sony's decision is not surprising, as 8K TVs are very expensive and, most importantly, too little content is available in this resolution.

Those who still want to buy an 8K TV should look at Samsung products.
