Realme GT7 smartphone with flagship Dimensity 9400+ processor will be unveiled on 23 April

A few days ago, MediaTek unveiled its flagship Dimensity 9400+ processor that will provide a significant performance boost in premium mobile gadgets.

It was expected that the first smartphones with this chipset will be Oppo Find X8s+, Vivo X200s and Realme GT7 and today one of the manufacturers confirmed its plans.

Here's What We Know

Realme has announced that the Realme GT7 smartphone with MediaTek single-chip system will be unveiled on 23 April.

It will be a powerful mid-range smartphone with a Titan battery with a capacity of 7200 mAh and support for ultra-fast charging up to 100W.

The gadget will get an updated GT Performance Engine 2.0, which optimises the chip for different tasks. The device will also get improved heat dissipation technologies, improved frame stability and longer battery life.

It is expected that the cost of the Realme GT7 smartphone will not exceed $400.

The Dimensity 9400+ chipset has the following features:

  • the processor uses the "All Big Core CPU" architecture, which includes a single Cortex-X925 core up to 3.73 GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A7202 cores;
  • the chip supports WQHD+ resolution screens with refresh rates up to 180Hz, and can process camera images up to 320MP and support 8K video recording at 60 FPS.
  • The 12-core Immortalis-G925 embedded GPU provides support for ray tracing and enhanced visual effects in games;
  • NPU 890 module with Speculative Decoding+ technology increases AI performance by 20 per cent;
  • the processor supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0;
  • Frame Rate Converter 2.0+ technology reduces power consumption by 40 per cent.
