Samsung seems to be resuming the distribution of the One UI 7 firmware, which was suspended the other day due to technical issues. As reported by our colleagues at Android Authority, the company said that the bugs have been fixed and updating devices to One UI 7 will resume soon.

Here's What We Know

The One UI 7 rollout started on 7 April for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 models, but was recently suspended due to some issues discovered. According to the latest reports, the cause could be a bug affecting the unlocking process of Exynos-based Galaxy S24 devices in South Korea. Similar issues were also found on devices with Snapdragon processors in the US and other regions. In addition to this, Samsung Secure Folder glitches were also reported.

The company now says that it has completed the testing and fixed the identified flaws. The update is expected to be available to Galaxy S24, Fold 6 and Flip 6 users again soon.

It has also been reported that Samsung is also planning to release One UI 7 for the Galaxy S23 series soon. According to the latest reports, the update will be available on these smartphones closer to 22 April. We can only hope that the patched versions of One UI 7 will provide a more stable performance of the devices.
