A new Honor Power smartphone with a huge 8000 mAh battery has been unveiled

Honor has officially unveiled the Honor Power smartphone, which is the first device of the new Power series.

Here's What We Know

The main feature of the model is the 8000 mAh battery that provides up to 25 hours of long video playback, 23 hours of TikTok browsing, 23.1 hours of navigation and 14 hours of gaming. Despite the impressive battery, the smartphone has retained a slim form factor with a thickness of 7.98mm and a weight of 209 g. Silicon-carbon battery technology has made it possible to achieve these figures.

The Honor Power features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2700×1224 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 4000 nits. The device is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and MagicOS 9.0 software platform based on Android 15. The smartphone has also received a special chip to improve connectivity HONOR C1+.

The primary camera has a 50 MP resolution and optical stabilisation, while the ultra-wide-angle camera is 5 MP. The front camera has got a 16 MP sensor. The smartphone supports 66W charging, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and has an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Honor Power is available in three colours: white, black and gold. Pricing in China starts at 1999 yuan ($270) for a model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage, while the maximum configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs 2499 yuan ($340). Global availability is yet to be confirmed.
