Huawei announces Smart Glasses 2 that translate in real time and charge in 50 minutes

Huawei has officially presented in China a new model of Smart Glasses 2 with a round frame and optical lenses. The accessory was priced at 2,299 yuan, which is approximately $313.

The new product has a number of AI-based features and a stylish, well-thought-out design.

Huawei emphasises that the frame has undergone 33 processing stages to ensure durability and elegance. The glasses are equipped with optical lenses and have comfortable nose pads and locks that prevent slipping during wearing.

Key features include support for AI-based functions. In particular, live translation in real time is implemented, which is activated by a voice command. Although the list of languages is not specified, Huawei promises fast and accurate translations.

Another feature is Cervical Health 2.0, which provides recommendations for neck health. The glasses also notify you of the weather, help you with your daily schedule, and allow you to accept or reject calls with a nod of the head.

Regarding autonomy: Huawei promises up to 9 hours of talk time or 11 hours of music playback, and a full charge takes only 50 minutes.

So far, Huawei has not announced the global release of this model, but a similar version, Eyewear 2, is already available on the international market.

Korean media recently reported that Samsung will introduce Android XR-based smartphones developed with Google in 2026.
