Opera has announced the integration of its proprietary Aria artificial intelligence into the Opera Mini mobile browser. Previously, this feature was available only in the desktop version and the main mobile browser Opera.

Here's What We Know

Millions of Opera Mini users will now be able to ask questions, generate texts and images, and get short summaries of large texts directly in the browser.

Aria is powered by OpenAI and Google technologies in combination with Opera Composer AI.

How To Switch It On

To take advantage of the new features, users need to update their browser to the latest version. After that, Aria can be accessed through the main menu or a special button next to the reload button on the home page.

Aria can not only answer questions, but also create images, generate texts, and show recommended topics for dialogue. This is especially useful for users looking for quick answers or ideas on the go.

Opera Mini is especially popular in countries with expensive mobile internet. It supports data compression, has a built-in ad blocker, offline file sharing, and allows you to download news to read without being connected to the network.

Recently, Gemini Advanvced added Veo 2 video generation, which allows users to create cinematic quality clips of up to 8 seconds. Users can generate short videos using the new Veo 2 model, which is text-based.
