In Mario Kart World, you can unlock new character costumes and vehicle designs

Although the new Mario Kart World will feature the usual modes of the series, such as Grand Prix, the game will also introduce new ones, such as Knockout Tour. However, for the first time in the series, players will be able to freely explore the map right up to its edge and discover all the secrets hidden there.

Here's What We Know

But one of the most intriguing activities will be the ability to unlock new character costumes and new vehicle designs. By finding and eating different types of food, skins will appear in your menu and can be selected before the race. For example: eating sushi will unlock the Happi and Yukata skins and the Matsuri skin for Mario and Luigi, Princess Peach and Yoshi.

When We Can Expect It

Mario Kart World will be released alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 June.
