Already on 29 April, the popular racing game Forza Horizon 5 will lose the status of console exclusive Xbox and will be released on PlayStation 5.

In the network appeared information about how much users of the Japanese console will have to free up space on the drive and when the preload starts.

Here's What We Know

The PlayStation Game Size dataminer discovered important information in the PlayStation Network database that was not reported by the developers.

Installing Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 will require freeing up 132GB, which is a lot, but still 19GB less than the Xbox Series X|S (150.74GB).

DLC will also take up a certain amount of free space:

  • Hot Wheels: 9.474GB
  • Rally Adventure: 15.489GB.

Preloading of the Standard Edition will start on 27 April, while Premium Edition buyers will be able to install the game from 25 April.

As always, this option is only available to those who pre-ordered the game.

As a reminder, when Forza Horizon 5 first launches on PlayStation 5, gamers will need to link a Microsoft account to their PSN account. This is necessary to use various Microsoft services in the game, including crossplay between all platforms.
