Samsung is working on releasing a new model of budget wireless headphones that will be a follow-up to the Galaxy Buds FE (SM-R400).

Here's What We Know

The device with the model number SM-R410 has already passed the Indian BIS certification and the American FCC, where some specifications and marketing name were revealed. The novelty will be called Galaxy Buds Core, which is a departure from the usual Fan Edition branding.

The reasons for the name change are still unclear, but it is speculated that the Galaxy Buds Core may get a new design different from the previous model. Previously, Samsung has only used the Core brand for budget smartphones, but never for headphones.

The Galaxy Buds Core is expected to be officially unveiled later this year, possibly at the next Unpacked event, where the Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 are also expected to be announced.
