The world of Diablo 4 is preparing for an unexpected, yet exciting invasion. Blizzard has announced a collaboration with the legendary Berserk anime for a large-scale crossover. The details of this epic combination are still under wraps, but the first cinematic teaser posted on Blizzard's official Twitter page is already piquing the curiosity of fans of both franchises.

Here's What We Know

In the 30-second anime-style teaser, we see the mighty Warbara from Diablo single-handedly holding back an invasion of demonic creatures with his giant two-handed sword. His final fierce roar before the official logo of the collaboration appears promises a real clash of the titans.

A closer look at the fine print in the trailer hints that the Berserk crossover will include "additional in-game purchases", including "random items", which sounds a lot like the infamous loot boxes. However, before you start raising a wave of anger, it's worth noting that the same line mentions Diablo Immortal, iOS, and Google Play. This suggests that loot boxes may appear only in the mobile version of Diablo, and that the thematic content for Diablo 4 will be limited to regular, transparent microtransactions.

It is currently unknown when exactly this grand event will take place. However, given that Diablo 4 season 7 ends on 29 April and season 8 is expected to be released shortly after, there is a high probability that the crossover with Berserker will be a part of it. So, get ready for bloody battles and epic moments.
