Arcane and Fortnite fans won't like the news: Jinx and Vee skins won't be returning to the battle royale anytime soon

Despite the enormous popularity of both the Netflix animated series Arkane and the battle royale Fortnite, it seems that the skins of the series' main characters, which many people have dreamed of, are not going to return to the game in the near future.

Here's What We Know

Jinx and Vee first appeared in Fortnite shortly after the release of the first season of Arkane, and more than 1,100 days have passed since they were available for purchase. During this time, the entire second season of the series was released, which seemed to be received by the audience no less warmly than the first. However, both main characters remain locked in Fortnite's virtual vaults.

"They've been great partners, but we couldn't find the right time to bring back the Arcane skins, and unfortunately, that's not going to happen in the near future," said Mark Merrill, CEO of Riot.

Perhaps it's a matter of time, finances, or licensing - probably all of the above. Nevertheless, it seems a shame that Riot and Epic couldn't celebrate the release of the excellent second season of Arkane with a re-launch of the skins.
