Google has announced the expansion of the Gemini Live feature, which is now available to all Android users. Previously, the feature was exclusive to owners of Pixel 9 and Galaxy S25 devices who subscribed to the paid Gemini Advanced tier. However, after receiving positive feedback, the company has decided to make the feature available to all Gemini users, including those using the free version of the app.

Here's What We Know

Gemini Live allows you to have a live conversation with artificial intelligence using the camera or screen sharing. To use the feature, you need to open the Gemini app, select the Gemini Live icon, and then tap on the camera or screen sharing icon. This allows you to discuss with Gemini what is being displayed on the screen or through the camera in a natural dialogue format, where you can interrupt the AI at any point.

The feature will be gradually rolled out over the next few weeks, so users may not see it in the app right away.
