Garmin has started rolling out the new 9.09 beta update for the Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E smartwatches. This is the second release in the first beta cycle for the new series, which came out just a few days after version 9.07.

Here's What We Know

In the new version, the company focused on fixing bugs related to training. According to the official changelog, an issue with the power mode setting during activities in the Garmin Connect Mobile app has been fixed. Also, a glitch in jump rope training has been fixed - previously, the "Goal reached" message was not working correctly. This update is relevant for the Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct 3 Solar models.

Garmin didn't disclose any other details, but noted that the update also includes a number of improvements and fixes. Beta version 9.09 is distributed via Bluetooth paired with the Garmin Connect Mobile app or via PC using Garmin Express.

At the time of publication, no new bugs have been reported by users. You can join the Garmin beta programme via the company's support page.

In early April, Garmin released beta version 15.18 for the Enduro 3, Fenix E, and Fenix 8 with new Maps features and vibration settings. The update is available for download worldwide and includes more than a dozen changes that significantly improve the overall user experience. Garmin emphasises that to access these updates, you need to be enrolled in their beta testing programme.
