LG has announced a new monitor, the LG Smart Monitor Swing, which combines mobility and functionality with a stand with wheels.

Here's What We Know

This is a device that allows users to move the monitor from room to room, providing more freedom than traditional desktop monitors. Similar to LG StanbyME TVs, but without a built-in battery, this monitor has a 31.5-inch 4K UHD IPS touchscreen.

A big advantage of the new product is its stand on wheels, which makes it easy to move the monitor thanks to the One Click mechanism. The stand is height-adjustable and has the ability to tilt, swivel and even switch the monitor from landscape to portrait mode. Unlike the StanbyME, however, the monitor does not have a built-in battery, which limits its mobility to the length of the power cable. However, this is not a significant problem for home or office use.

The LG Smart Monitor Swing also comes with a large number of ports: three USB-C, two HDMI, and supports Power Delivery via USB-C (up to 65W). It also has built-in speakers, allowing you to watch videos or listen to music without the need for additional speakers or headphones.

Since it's a smart monitor, it runs on webOS, giving you access to numerous work and entertainment apps without the need to connect a computer. LG is positioning this monitor as a versatile device for a variety of professions, including working mums, retail managers and content creators.

The price and exact release date of the LG Smart Monitor Swing have not yet been announced, but according to LG, sales will begin in the near future.
