Oppo K12s appeared in China - an improved version of the K13 with a 7000 mAh battery

Oppo has launched the new K12s in China, which is the same model as the Oppo K13 launched in India. Although both smartphones have the same design, the Oppo K12s has several important improvements, including more RAM, storage options, and new colours.

Here's What We Know

The Oppo K12s has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Inside, it is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, which is complemented by 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. Storage options range from 128 GB to 512 GB on high-speed UFS 3.1 flash memory. The Oppo K13 has only 8GB of RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage options.

This smartphone has a 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, complemented by a 2 MP monochrome sensor, and a 16 MP front camera with a notch on the screen. Artificial intelligence improves the quality of images, and it is also possible to record 4K video at 30 frames per second.

The Oppo K12s also has stereo speakers, NFC, an infrared transmitter, a built-in fingerprint scanner, and face unlocking. There is no audio jack. 7000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The package includes a charger and a case. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15 with the promise of two OS updates and three years of security support.

The price of the Oppo K12s starts at ¥1,199 ($164/€143) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model and goes up to ¥1,799 ($246/€215) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.
