Syos Aerospace from New Zealand will supply Ukraine with unmanned systems worth more than $40 million. The deal was announced by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Here's What We Know

This was reported by the New Zealand edition of The Post. It has not been officially disclosed what kind of drones will be supplied, but Syos Aerospace's portfolio includes a wide range of autonomous systems for air, land and sea operations.

The company's flagship is the SA200 unmanned helicopter. It can carry up to 200 kg of cargo and stay in the air for up to 2 hours. When configured with an additional fuel tank for long-range missions, the SA200 is capable of performing reconnaissance or electronic warfare at distances of up to 1,000 km with a flight duration of more than 8 hours.

The company's maritime systems include the SM300 autonomous surface drone with a payload of 300 kg and a range of 650 miles. It can be adapted to various combat and logistics needs, and its artificial intelligence capabilities enable both route planning and interaction as part of a "flock" of drones.

In addition, the company has a ground robotic complex SG400 UGV, an autonomous platform with a 6×6 drive that can be additionally equipped with crawler tracks. It is capable of carrying loads of up to 500 kg and covering long distances at high speed, with a range of up to 230 km.
