HMD Global is preparing to launch several new smartphones, according to the latest leaks. The Finnish company announces the successors to two popular devices in 2024: HMD Skyline and HMD Fusion.

Here's What We Know

The information about the new models was shared by a well-known insider HMD_MEME, according to which the company will soon introduce HMD Skyline², HMD Skyline² GT, and the second generation of the HMD Fusion modular phone.

The HMD Skyline² is due out in July, although the specifications have not yet been revealed. This new product will continue the HMD Skyline line, which is currently available for $349.99 on Amazon.

In addition to the Skyline², HMD will also introduce the HMD Skyline² GT. At the moment, there is no exact information on how this model will differ from the standard Skyline², but it is expected that the GT version will offer more premium options.

Another important announcement will be the HMD Fusion 2, a modular phone that develops the concept of the original HMD Fusion model. Launched last year, the Fusion was known for its affordable price and modular design, which allowed users to customise the phone with different accessories. The HMD Fusion 2 will retain the modular concept, but will receive improvements in aspects such as display quality, processor power and camera.

The release date of the HMD Skyline² GT and Fusion 2 has not yet been confirmed, but both devices are likely to be announced in the middle of this year.
