Forza Horizon 5 flourishes on PlayStation 5 Pro: technical analysis shows what improvements the game has on the most powerful console
Microsoft continues to harness the power of PS5 Pro for its ported games, and this time the technical experts at Digital Foundry have come under the knife of the magnificent Forza Horizon 5. Their detailed analysis of the PS5 version has shown that the open world of this racing arcade game is at its best on PS5 Pro.
Here's What We Know
It is noted that the differences between the versions for the base PS5 and Xbox Series X are almost imperceptible. However, on PS5 Pro, the Performance Mode has undergone the biggest improvements.
According to experts, in this mode, vegetation is displayed at the same quality level, but the game runs at a much higher frame rate, which is typical for performance mode. "Probably a basic console could achieve something similar with a lower resolution, but here we have a virtually uncompromising experience that usually runs at full 4K."
So if you want to get the best console experience from Forza Horizon 5, you need a PlayStation 5 Pro.
As a reminder, Forza Horizon 5 is coming to PS5 on 28 April.
