Philips has officially launched its new top-of-the-line monitor, the Evnia 27M2N8800, equipped with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate.

Here's What We Know

The price of the novelty is 6499 yuan (about $892), and it is already available on JD.com.

The monitor uses the third generation of Samsung QD-OLED panels with an ultra-low response time of 0.03ms (GTG) and support for HDR True Black 400. The brightness reaches up to 1000 nits on 3% of the screen area, which provides deep shadows and vivid details. VESA ClearMR 13000 certification guarantees minimal motion blur, and Adaptive Sync support eliminates image tearing.

Evnia 27M2N8800 covers 99% DCI-P3, 97.6% Adobe RGB and 100% sRGB. With Delta E<1 calibration and a 10-bit panel, the device is suitable for both gaming and professional colour work.

Features include an AI system that protects against static burn-in, Ambiglow backlighting, Smart Sniper mode with zoom, Stark Shadow Boost for dark scenes, and Zero Latency Sync technology.

The monitor supports HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, USB 3.2, picture-in-picture mode, and has an ergonomic stand, two 5W speakers, a joystick, and convenient eye protection modes.

In January, Philips announced a new flagship OLED+950 TV with 3,700 nits of brightness and improved colour reproduction. TP Vision has unveiled a new flagship OLED+950 TV that features the latest tandem OLED panel from LG Display.
