New Vivo X Fold 4 foldable smartphone will get a flagship processor and a large battery, - insider
After the launch of its main flagships this year, Vivo is preparing to introduce a new foldable smartphone. It may be called the X Fold 4 or even Fold 5, as the number 4 is often avoided in China due to cultural prejudices.
Here's What We Know
According to a reliable insider at Digital Chat Station, the new product is expected to debut in the third quarter of 2025. Although a specific name has not yet been announced, all signs point to the continuation of the Vivo X Fold series.
The device is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a logical step up from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the current X Fold 3. Also, according to preliminary data, the smartphone will be equipped with a side fingerprint scanner, a periscope-type telephoto lens, and support for wireless charging.

Earlier, it was reported that the new Vivo Fold will feature a large AMOLED display with a high refresh rate and minimal bezels, as well as an updated hinge to reduce the visibility of the fold and improve durability.
The X Fold 4 may feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and an ultra-wide module. The battery capacity is 6000 mAh and it is IPX8 waterproof.
According to new rumours, the company is planning to present another device, the vivo X200 FE, which is due to appear on the Indian market. Earlier it was reported that the X200 Pro mini model might appear on the Indian market, but it seems that Vivo has decided to change the name and make some changes to the specifications.
