Lenovo has officially opened pre-orders for the Legion Y700 Gen 4 tablet in China, ahead of its spring product announcement event in May.

Here's What We Know

During the event in May, Lenovo AI PC - Legion Y9000P 2025 Ultimate Edition, as well as the new Legion Y700 Gen 4 tablet will be presented.

Legion Y700 Gen 4 is designed for gamers. The tablet features an 8.8-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 3040 x 1904 pixels, and 408 PPI pixel density. The screen supports a 165Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sensitivity, which ensures high sensitivity and smooth gaming.

The peak brightness reaches 600 nits, which makes the tablet comfortable to use both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, the display supports wide DCI-P3 colour gamut, 12-bit colour depth and 10X super resolution technology.

The Legion Y700 Gen 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a large copper VC cooling system (12,000 mm²) that provides efficient heat dissipation during intensive use. The tablet has a 7,600 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.

The tablet is available in two configurations: with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

Other features include a 50-megapixel main camera with flash, a fingerprint scanner built into the power button, stereo speakers and a TF card slot for memory expansion.

The tablet has compact dimensions (207.58 mm by 128.5 mm), is thinner than the iPad Mini 7 and is more comfortable for one-handed use thanks to its better screen-to-body ratio.
