Digital shop GOG continues to expand its GOG Preservation Programme and in honour of the upcoming Star Wars Day, which fans of the franchise celebrate on May 4, has announced the addition of five classic titles.

Here's What We Know

The following games have been added to the GOG Preservation Programme:

  • STAR WARS Dark Forces (Classic, 1995)
  • STAR WARS: X-Wing Special Edition
  • STAR WARS Battlefront (Classic, 2004)
  • STAR WARS: Rebel Assault 1 + 2
  • STAR WARS: TIE Fighter Special Edition

Adding games to the GOG Preservation Programme means that the platform's staff will take over support, improving compatibility with modern systems and controllers and fixing old bugs.

The slogan of the Programme is: "Games have worked, work and will continue to work!", so the said Star Wars games will be enjoyed by fans for a long time.
