SonarPen has made it possible to use its SonarPen and SonarPen 2 styluses with the MacBook.

Here's What We Know

Previously, SonarPen styluses could only be used with the iPad, but now it's possible to use them with the MacBook as well. The gadgets are compatible with laptops running macOS 11 and newer versions, but to connect older models you need a USB-C adapter.

Thanks to the special SonarPen Driver software, users will be able to use the MacBook trackpad as a graphics tablet. Styluses support such programmes as Clip Studio paint, Artrage, Art studio Pro, Inkscape, Photoshop, Krita, Gimp and others.

SonarPen styluses provide users with the ability to fine-tune pressure and angle sensitivity, making them as comfortable to work with as possible. Plus, they are significantly cheaper than the Apple Pencil.
