NVIDIA has released another driver patch 576.26, based on version 576.02, which addresses issues with RTX 50-series GPUs.

Here's What We Know

This driver includes fixes previously added in version 576.15, such as fixing the GPU temperature bug, flickering in Forza Horizon 5, track corruption in Forza Motorsport, and random crashes in Black Myth: Wukong. Improvements were also made for Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Dead Island 2, and Resident Evil 4 Remake.

NVIDIA has also addressed a black screen issue that occurs on some LG monitors when using DisplayPort 2.1 mode, as well as grey screen crashes when using multiple monitors. The fixes also address momentary display flicker at high refresh rates.

This is the fifth driver patch release in recent months, highlighting significant issues with the RTX 50-series GPUs that have surfaced since their release in January. NVIDIA has previously mocked its rival AMD for releasing beta versions of its graphics card drivers, but is now itself having issues with the quality of its drivers, which it previously praised.
