Oppo is gearing up to launch the Find X9 Pro this year, and while the company has traditionally featured dual periscope cameras on its flagships, that could change.

Here's What We Know

Instead of retaining this characteristic element, the Find X9 Pro is likely to get a new camera configuration.

A well-known insider told Digital Chat Station that the successor to the Find X8 Pro is likely to get three cameras on the back instead of the usual four-camera configuration. According to the source, this smartphone will retain the wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras, but the dual telescopic camera will be replaced by a single periscope camera with a 200MP sensor.

Oppo may use Samsung's ISOCELL HP9, which is also found in the Vivo X200 Ultra, or even a newer sensor to differentiate the Find X9 Pro from its competitors.

The new smartphone is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, which should provide high performance.

Recently, new images of the Oppo Reno14 with an iPhone-like design have appeared online. Like its predecessors, the new device will have an aluminium frame and a flat 120Hz OLED display.

As a reminder, OPPO has announced the launch of the A5 Pro budget smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor in Ukraine. According to the manufacturer, the device can be charged to 30% in just 19 minutes. The smartphone is certified according to the MIL-STD-810H military standard and has IP69, IP68 and IP66 dust and water protection levels.
