Incredible crossover: Fortnite will show the premiere of the new anime series Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld right in the game
In May, we will have a lot of exciting content at the intersection of two universes. Fortnite will be the venue for the premiere of the next Lucasfilm Star Wars anime anthology: Tales of the Underworld - and this will happen before its release on Disney+ on 4 May.
Here's What We Know
As part of the themed season of Fortnite: Galactic Battle, Epic and Disney are launching a special Star Wars Watch Party island on 2 May.
Everyone who visits this in-game event will be the first to see the first two episodes of Tales of the Underworld. In addition, players will have a unique opportunity to fight waves of stormtroopers using blasters and lightsabers. The island will be available in the list of modes after logging into Fortnite or by using the code 2124-6713-8076. Everyone who watches both episodes will receive a free loading screen with Asajj Ventress in Fortnite.
But that's just part of the larger Star Wars and Fortnite integration coming in May. Players will also be able to link their Epic accounts to their MyDisney accounts. They will be rewarded with a new First Order Stormtrooper skin, familiar from the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
In addition, Fortnite Festival will feature "Lapti Nek", an original song from Jabba's Palace from the film Return of the Jedi. This song was removed from the original version of the film in favour of "Jedi Rocks" in a special edition by George Lucas. Fortnite dataminers have also revealed that three new Star Wars-inspired tracks will debut during the event: "Rebel's Run", "The Dark Side", and "Where My Wookiees At?".
The new season of Fortnite will be available on 2 May.
