On 30 April 2025, the second technical test of the PvPvE extraction of the Arc Raiders shooter by Embark (developers of The Finals) started. The test will last until 4 May and is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam/Epic). The main goal is to check server stability and collect feedback before the game's release.

How to participate?

Registration takes place on the official website via Embark ID or via Steam ("Request Access"). For participants of the first test, access is automatically activated. The test itself is NDA-free - you can stream, share videos, and discuss the game.

The main innovations of the test:

  • New enemies and mechanics: There are now robot bosses like ARC Queen, which must be defeated as a team.
  • Progression system: Improved skill tree, weapon and equipment crafting.
  • Battle Pass: A preview of the system with daily challenges and rewards.
  • Improved cross-platform compatibility: Optimisation of the game for consoles and PC, synchronisation between platforms.

Arc Raiders is an extraction shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world where players search for resources while fighting other participants and robotic enemies.

Distinctive features:

  • Fast gameplay: The emphasis is on dynamic fights, jumping on roofs, and the use of zip lines.
  • Changing conditions on the map: Sandstorms, rains, night raids - every match is unique.
  • Rich sound palette: The footsteps, shots, and sounds of robots help you navigate in space and are well done.

According to preliminary tests, Arc Raiders has received positive feedback for its PvPvE balance and sense of progression. Unlike Escape from Tarkov, there is less stress due to the loss of loot, but more emphasis on teamwork.

The second Arc Raiders test is a chance for players to influence the development of the project and assess its potential. Due to its openness and the absence of NDAs, this stage will be key to forming a community around the game before its release in 2025.
