Acer has introduced two new gaming monitors: 4K for aesthetes and 600Hz for eSportsmen

These monitors are aimed at different segments of gamers: The Predator XB323QK V4 is for those who value high resolution and image quality, and the Nitro XV240 F6 is for eSports players where every millisecond counts.

What we know

The Predator XB323QK V4 is a 31.5-inch IPS monitor with a resolution of 3840×2160 (4K UHD), 16:9 aspect ratio and a maximum refresh rate of 160Hz (via HDMI or DisplayPort). If you lower the resolution to 1080p, you can reach 320 Hz. Response time - from 1 ms to a minimum of 0.5 ms (GTG), there is support for AMD FreeSync Premium. Contrast ratio is 100,000,000:1 (ACM) and brightness is 250 cd/m². DCI-P3 has 95% colour gamut and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

Interfaces include 2× HDMI 2.1, 1× DisplayPort 1.4, speakers (2×2W) and audio output. The monitor supports VESA mounting (100×100 mm), as well as tilt, swivel, rotation and height adjustment - from -5° to 25°, ±20° horizontally, ±90° in portrait mode and up to 150 mm in height.

Acer Nitro XV240 F6 is all about speed. The 24.1-inch Full HD (1920×1080) TN panel delivers up to 240Hz via HDMI and a whopping 600Hz via DisplayPort. Response time is 1ms or as low as 0.1ms (GTG). Contrast ratio is 100,000,000:1, brightness is 350 cd/m² in standard and up to 400 cd/m² in HDR400 mode. DCI-P3 colour space coverage reaches 90%.

The monitor has two HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, built-in speakers (2×2 W), FreeSync Premium support and all possible position adjustment options - similar to the older model.

When and how much

  • The Predator XB323QK V4 will be available in Europe in the third quarter of 2025, starting at 700 euros. In China - in the second quarter, starting from 4000 yuan.
  • TheNitro XV240 F6 will be released in North America in May, starting at $700. The European release is scheduled for the third quarter (from 800 euros), and in China - in the second quarter (from 5000 yuan).
