Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 FE, the fifth model in the S25 series, which will appear at the end of 2025, GalaxyClub reports.

Here's What We Know

The model, codenamed R13 and numbered SM-S731B, will run on Android 16 with the new One UI 8 interface, which will debut alongside the new foldable Galaxy models in July 2025.

The Galaxy S25 FE will be a more affordable alternative to the flagship Galaxy S25 lineup, which was released in January 2025. After the launch of the Galaxy S24 FE in October 2024, the new model will be aimed at those users who are looking for quality features at a reasonable price. According to GalaxyClub, the phone will be released in the third or fourth quarter of 2025, probably in September or October.

However, one of the main features of the S25 FE will be the use of the old Exynos 2400e chipset, which is also present in the S24 FE. This is a smaller version of the Exynos 2400 used in the flagship S24 and S24+ models, but it has some power efficiency limitations compared to the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chips. The reason for this decision may be that the Exynos 2500, which is expected in the future, is not yet ready for mass production.

The S25 FE is expected to retain a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a 4700mAh battery, with similar or slightly improved performance compared to the S24 FE.

As a reminder, sales of the Galaxy S25 boosted Samsung's profits by 21.7%. The total revenue amounted to 79.14 trillion won (~$55.66 billion).
