Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has attracted 2 million players - perhaps Ubisoft is hinting at a sequel to the series
Ubisoft has shared a new achievement of the highly praised metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which was released in early 2024, was warmly welcomed by the public, but was not very popular.
Here's What We Know
The authors reported that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has been played by more than 2 million players - this was facilitated by the addition of the game to PS Plus and its release on mobile devices.
Ubisoft commented its post with a phrase, which some people take as a hint about the new part of the series:
Well over 2 million players already. You've revived a legend. The Prince is back, and trust us - this is just the beginning.
That said, recall that Ubisoft was disappointed with the sales results of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and disbanded the development team, putting a stop to the sequel's development.
