Slim body, large display and powerful processor: full technical details and renders of the Surface Pro 12 tablet have surfaced online
In addition to renders and technical information about Surface Laptop 13, German publication WinFuture has published details of the Surface Pro 12 tablet, which Microsoft will unveil on 6 May.
Here's What We Know
According to WinFuture, Surface Pro 12 will get an updated design with more rounded shapes and an integrated stand on the back that folds out to 165°. The thickness of the body of the gadget will be only 7.8 mm.
Surface Pro 12 specifications:
- 12″ PixelSense Flow Panel LCD display with support for Surface Pen and Surface Pen Slim stylus for handwritten notes. The refresh rate will probably be 120Hz;
- Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 8-core processor;
- 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage (UFS);
- up to 16 hours of battery life;
- two USB-C ports.
The Surface Pro 12 will be available in Ocean, Slate and Platinum colours. Separately, buyers will be able to purchase a Surface keyboard in the same colours.
Like the Surface Laptop 13, the tablet will likely come without a bundled power adapter; instead, the device can be charged using any USB-C cable with at least 27W of power.
