A deal that could cost lives: IGN has revealed a fight with one of Elden Ring Nightreign's unique bosses, which imposes its own terms on gamers

IGN portal announced a month of news and exclusive materials about the experimental co-operative game Elden Ring Nightreign and started by showing one of the eight Night Lords, which will be the strongest bosses in the game.

Developers from FromSoftware gave journalists the opportunity to fight a boss named Libra - Creature of Night.

This boss with goat legs and horns is characterised by unusual mechanics: before the start of the battle he offers to make a deal that will strengthen the player characters, but they don't know what its terms will be until the battle starts. This has never happened before in the souls-like genre!

The terms and rewards for this deal seem to be randomly generated, giving each battle with Libra an unpredictable feel. However, the boss is powerful in its own right, with many sprawling attacks and a large amount of health.

The authors of the material admitted that they couldn't defeat him for a whole day, but on the second visit to FromSoftware's office they made a plan and Libra fell.

When We Can Expect It

Elden Ring Nightreign will release on 30 May on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
