After a long silence, Bethesda has released a new update for Starfield in the Steam Beta, which, although not impressive in scale, brings important improvements to the game's performance, modding tools, and stability.

Here's What We Know

The latest patch 1.15.214, available in beta on Steam, adds a new Very Low mode for graphics settings, which will help players with weaker PCs run the game with better performance. In addition, Bethesda has expanded its resolution support to include 32:9, 32:10, and more 16:9, 16:10, and 21:9 options.

An important innovation was the modernisation of the Creation Kit, a tool for creating modifications. Now creators can add new icons, upload their work up to 2 GB, and combine several mods into packages for easy distribution through the Creations Store. This opens up new opportunities for the modding community and will allow them to create larger and more comprehensive add-ons.

In addition, a number of bugs related to quests, vehicles, interface and gameplay mechanics have been fixed. In particular, the game has improved the work of saves, stability during loading, eliminated problems with control in certain situations and fixed bugs that prevented the completion of some tasks.
