Media: Huawei to unveil first computer on HarmonyOS on 8 May - the Chinese will replace Windows with their own ecosystem
A few days ago we reported that the Chinese company Huawei will refuse to use Windows in its computers and replace the American OS with a specially developed PC version of HarmonyOS.

Huawei Central portal reported that the company will present the first computer on HarmonyOS on 8 May. On this day, the Chinese company will hold a summit on computer technologies and HarmonyOS ecosystem in Shenzhen, during which Huawei representatives will discuss the potential prospects of PC with its own OS.
It is reported that it is at this event the company will show the first PC with HarmonyOS and reveal some of its features, but a detailed presentation is expected closer to the end of May. In addition to the PC and a special version of HarmonyOS, the event will also show its own kernel for application support.
HarmonyOS was previously only used on mobile devices and has received excellent reviews in the Chinese market.
