Recently, information about Project Kennan, a handheld gaming console similar to the ASUS ROG Ally, but it should come under the Xbox brand and support all the services of the ecosystem, has surfaced online.

The US Federal Communications Commission accidentally published photos of two unrevealed gaming devices from ASUS, one of which could be a console being co-developed with Microsoft.

Here's What We Know

Authoritative Windows Central journalist Jez Corden suggests that the gadget with the white design is the ASUS ROG Ally 2, while the black one is specifically Project Kennan, as indicated by the emblem on the button at the top left of the device, similar to the Xbox logo.

Corden reported that Project Kennan is currently being tested at Microsoft's headquarters. The journalist said that he expected to see a more recognisable Xbox design, but stressed that it will be primarily an ASUS console.

There is a possibility that ASUS will unveil both devices at Computex 2025, which will be held from 20 to 23 May.

Project Kennan is expected to be able to run all games from the Steam catalogue, Epic Games Store as well as the Microsoft Store tagged Xbox Play Anywhere.
