Casio will soon expand its G-Shock line with the new GM-B2100SD-1C, an all-metal watch in the style of the first DW-5000C. The watch has appeared in Japanese online stores, confirming its release in June 2025. The expected price is ¥84,700 (approximately $590).

Here's What We Know

The novelty has a silver-coloured steel case and a black dial, which makes it recognisable but modern at the same time. The GM-B2100SD-1C retains the octagonal shape of the 2100 series case, while adding a polished finish and enhanced dial details.

This is the third all-metal model in the GM-B2100 series, following the GM-B2100D-1A and GM-B2100SD-1A.

The main features include solar charging (Tough Solar), Bluetooth support for synchronisation with a smartphone, and a positive LCD display. This is not a radical update to the series, but the new colour and improved functionality may be of interest to fans of the brand.

The GM-B2100SD-1C was revealed back in March, when it appeared in a leak alongside the MTG-B4000 and a special version of the GM-5600 created in collaboration with basketball player Rui Hachimura.

It is not yet known when the model will appear on the global market, but usually all-metal G-Shocks are sold first in Japan and later in other countries.

Casio recently introduced a new model in the G-Shock series - the GBA-950, which is already available in Japan. This is a sports watch that combines the classic G-Shock reliability with modern features for an active lifestyle.
