Artificial intelligence on LinkedIn will help you find a job based on user descriptions
LinkedIn has announced a new job search feature that uses the power of generative artificial intelligence. Now users can find jobs by simply describing the desired job in natural language, without using keywords.
Here's What We Know
This feature is already available to Premium users, and will be available to other users by the end of the week.
This tool greatly simplifies the job search process. Instead of filtering jobs by keywords, you can simply describe your ideal position. For example, a query such as "find jobs for an entry-level brand manager in the fashion industry" or "a job for an analyst interested in sustainability" will provide accurate results.
LinkedIn wants to make the job search more flexible and personalised. Previously, the platform only offered general keyword searches, which limited the possibilities. With the new tool, users can describe their desired job in the way they want.
In addition, Premium subscribers will receive additional features, including the ability to use AI-powered "career coaching" to improve interview and self-presentation skills.
LinkedIn's career expert, Zara Easton, noted that artificial intelligence is changing the way people search for jobs by helping them find opportunities that match their skills, interests and ambitions.
The feature is currently only available to users with an English interface, but in the future it will be available to all.
As a reminder, LinkedIn has achieved a record revenue of $2 billion from premium subscriptions over the past 12 months and demonstrated overall annual growth of 9%.
