Sony releases limited edition DualSense in honour of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach - pre-orders start on 22 May

Hideo Kojima and Sony are preparing a special gift for their fans: a unique DualSense gamepad will be available on PS5 on 26 June alongside the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Pre-orders start on 22 May, and this is a must-have for collectors and fans of the series.

Here's What We Know

The design of the new product was developed in close cooperation with Kojima Productions. The controller is made in black and the touchpad is decorated with a bright orange logo of DrawBridge, an organisation that plays a key role in the plot of Death Stranding 2. Original details on the handles emphasise the style of the game, and Hideo Kojima himself has already personally presented the gamepad.

The controller will cost $85 and will be available in limited quantities - pre-orders will be available via PS Direct and selected retailers from 22 May. The official launch date is 26 June, simultaneously with the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach on PS5. For those who want to dive into the adventure earlier, the Collector's Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition are available with early access to the game from 24 June.
