Insider: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the thinnest smartphone in the world
Authoritative insider Ice Univerce has shared some interesting information about Samsung's foldable Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone.
Here's What We Know
According to the insider, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the thinnest smartphone in the world. Ice Univerce claims that the thickness of the gadget in the folded state will be 8.9 mm, and in unfolded - only 3.9 mm, which will be an absolute record.
To recall, the previous Fold 6 model is 12.1mm and 5.6mm thick respectively. And the thinnest gadget at the moment is considered the Chinese Oppo Find N5, which is characterised by a body of 4.2 mm in unfolded form and 8.9 mm in folded.
However, users will pay for this compactness with a smaller battery, which, according to Ice Univerce, will have a capacity of 4400 mAh.
We previously reported that Samsung has started mass production of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphones, and they are expected to be unveiled in summer 2025.
