Watch the debut trailer for The Long Walk, an adaptation of one of Stephen King's first works of fiction

Film company Lionsgate presented the debut trailer of the film "The Long Walk" (The Long Walk), which will be an adaptation of the story of the same name by Stephen King.

This work was one of the first in the career of the famous "king of horror" and was written in 1966, when the writer was only 19 years old.

Here's What We Know

According to the plot, the US Army every year conducts a cruel game of survival, in which it offers young people to take part in a "long walk", the route of which is more than 650 kilometres. Anyone who falls off their feet along the way or stops for a long time will be killed, and anyone who makes it will get everything they want.

The film is directed by The Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence and stars young actors Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson in the lead roles.

When We Can Expect It

The Long Walk will premiere on 12 September 2025 in cinemas worldwide.
