Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 became the most profitable game in Activision's history

Just a month after its release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 became the most successful game of the series and attracted a record number of players.

Information from former Activision analyst Rohan Sawant's page on Linkedin, which is now closed, but screenshots remain, is circulating online.

He pointed out that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 became the most profitable game in the history of Activision, and this company, remember, is the publisher of a huge number of popular games, many of which brought hundreds of millions and billions of dollars in profit.

The analyst did not specify exact figures, but the revenue from sales of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and microtransactions should be more than $2.75 billion dollars, as such a figure was voiced in 2020 in the context of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 3.

Of course, Activision hasn't shared such information yet, but it could very well be true, as Black Ops 6 is not only selling great, but its in-game paid merchandise is in high demand and definitely generating huge profits. The shooter is constantly hosting new events and collaborations with well-known franchises, which attracts additional audiences.
