Two drums, steam treatment and automatic ventilation: Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Dual Zone Pro washer and dryer

Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Dual Zone Pro washer-dryer, the main feature of which will be the presence of two drums.

The machine is equipped with a main drum for 10kg and a small additional drum designed for delicate washing of small quantities.

Both drums can work simultaneously or independently, and the water in them is not mixed. The washing machine is equipped with antibacterial door seals and will offer a steam sterilisation function.

Xiaomi has provided a dual suspension system to reduce vibration and a Direct Drive motor.

The machine automatically detects the weight of laundry, amount of detergent and water volume. If the door is not opened within 30 minutes after the cycle has finished, the air inlet ventilation is activated to prevent odours.

The Mijia Dual Zone Pro is already available for pre-order on some Chinese online marketplaces for around $600 in RMB terms.

The official sales launch is scheduled for 13 May 2025.
