Yesterday, Huawei unveiled the PC version of HarmonyOS, which will replace Windows on all future computers from the Chinese manufacturer.

It was stated that information about the first computer on the new platform will appear on 19 May, but, as always, insiders are ahead of official representatives.

Here's What We Know

Authoritative Chinese insider Digital Chat Station revealed important information about the next Huawei computer. It will get a 10-core Kirin X90 processor with 4+4+2 architecture that supports up to 20 threads. The chip is compliant with Chinese SM3 and SM4 cryptography standards and is likely to be equipped with a 10-core Ma Liang 920 GPU.

The chip is designed specifically for desktops and is codenamed Charlotte Pro. The Kirin X90 is supposedly based on Huawei's mobile SoC architecture, but improved for PC-level tasks.

The PC on HarmonyOS will get up to 32GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM on a 128-bit bus with 100GB/s bandwidth, as well as a 2TB SSD.
