Blizzard has announced Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 collaboration, which will launch on 20 May
Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled a new collaboration for Overwatch 2 - this time with Capcom's legendary Street Fighter 6 series. In the new animated trailer, Overwatch heroes appear as classic Street Fighter characters ahead of the event on 20 May.
Here's What We Know
In the video, Juno appears as Chun-Li, fighting against Widowmaker, who is dressed as Cammy. Both later face off against Hanzo in the form of Ryu - with authentic Hadouken and Shoryuken techniques right in the game. Other skins include: Kiriko as Juri, Sigma as M. Byson, Zenyatta as Dalsim, Soldier-76 as Gail, and Winston as Blanka. The crossover will also include thematic emotions, victory poses, and intro moments of glory.
It is interesting that Doomfist, a character with fighting moves, did not receive a skin in this collaboration, which is already causing discussion among fans.
Where To Play
Overwatch 2 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
