The First Berserker: Khazan will receive a free update with ultra-challenging Boss Rush modes - not all developers are ready for this challenge
The developers of The First Berserker: Khazan are preparing a real test of nerves and reactions for players: on 15 May, the game will receive a large-scale free update that will add two new Boss Rush modes at once. The tests turned out to be so tough that even the experienced designers of the team admit that not everyone will be able to pass them!
Here's What We Know
The main novelty is two Boss Rush modes that will open after the first playthrough of the game. The first one, Great General's Crucible, offers battles with groups of bosses united by theme. Players receive fixed characteristics - level, equipment, skills - and must complete each "playlist group" of bosses to unlock the next one. A special reward is promised for complete completion, but the details are kept secret.
The second mode, Berserker's Bloodshed, is a sequential marathon of boss battles, where each victory gives new rewards and the character becomes stronger and stronger. The final battle promises especially valuable prizes - new weapons and unique set items.
The developers do not hide the fact that these modes were created as a real challenge even for veterans of the genre. The team jokes that even their head character designer, who usually plays all games on platinum, "probably wouldn't play" the new modes this time because of their complexity.
In addition to Boss Rush, the update will add the ability to change the character's appearance (transmog) during the first playthrough - just complete the Blacksmith's Heirloom quest.
The update is currently undergoing final testing and certification for platforms.
