Sega will release Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios have announced the console release of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.. - a remaster of the last currently numbered instalment of the series.

The Japanese developers have revealed that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., which was released in early 2025 only on PC, will soon be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 users.

The authors promise not just to bring the game to consoles, but also to add new content, improve performance and graphics quality, provide full crossplay support between all platforms and significantly improve the networking code to make it stable and easy for players to connect.

An exact release date for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O on consoles has not yet been announced.

On Steam, the updated game has 75% positive reviews.
