Apple is preparing a new battery management feature that will appear in iOS 19. According to Bloomberg, the company is integrating artificial intelligence to analyse user habits and optimise iPhone power consumption.

Here's What We Know

The new tool will be part of the Apple Intelligence package, a system of AI-based features that Apple will introduce in the new version of the OS.

The feature will be able to reduce the load from applications and system processes, depending on the usage scenarios. Also, an indicator will appear on the lock screen showing the approximate time until the iPhone is fully charged.

Apple paid special attention to the iPhone 17 Air model. It will be an ultra-thin smartphone with a smaller battery than other models in the series. Artificial intelligence is designed to compensate for possible limitations in the battery life of this model, but the charge management function will be available on all devices compatible with iOS 19.

In addition, Apple will add other novelties: a visionOS-style interface, an updated Health app, improved Siri, and a number of features labelled "powered by Apple Intelligence" - including for the Apple Watch.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is actively working to ensure that iOS 19 is not only rich in features but also stable.

Recently, an insider reported that iOS 19 will automatically synchronise Wi-Fi networks from cafes, hotels, and other public places on Apple devices. The new feature will automatically sync new public Wi-Fi networks across all Apple devices.
