Audi has unveiled the base version of the e-tron GT - just a 585bhp quattro.
Audi has expanded the e-tron GT range by introducing a new base version called quattro. The novelty will take a place below the more powerful modifications S, RS and RS Performance.
Here's What We Know
There are few official details, but it is known that the base e-tron GT quattro received a body-coloured Singleframe front grille with black trim, matrix LED headlights, black rear diffuser, 20-inch black wheels, mirror housings in black or carbon fibre.
The interior features a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, 10.1-inch multimedia display, heated sports seats and steering wheel, panoramic glass roof, audio system with 10 speakers. Boot space is 405 litres at the rear and 77 litres at the front.
Features
The electric car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 105 kWh (useful - 97 kWh) and a two-motor all-wheel drive system. Engine output is 503 hp (370 kW) in standard mode and up to 585 hp (430 kW) with Launch Control. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.0 seconds. In comparison, the S e-tron GT produces up to 680 hp (500 kW) and accelerates in 3.4 seconds.
In addition, the base model is 30kg lighter than the S version and has a range of up to 622 kilometres on the WLTP test cycle. DC charging of up to 320 kW is supported - up to 285 kilometres of range can be replenished in 10 minutes.
Orders are already open:
- In Germany, prices start from €108,900 (versus €126,000 for the S version),
- In the UK, sales will start in August, with prices starting from £88,555. A better-equipped quattro Vorsprung version will also be available for £108,055.
Recall that Audi also recently unveiled the new A6 PHEV saloon and station wagon. These cars received a battery increased to 20.7 kWh capacity and can now drive up to 111 km without starting the petrol engine.
