Grand Theft Auto fans think they saw a child in one of the screenshots of GTA 6: will Rockstar add underage NPCs?
Although the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 has been postponed for a year, the interest of gamers around the project has not waned. Rockstar Games recently released the second trailer and dozens of high-quality screenshots that demonstrate the incredible level of detail and atmosphere of the upcoming game. However, one of the screenshots has caused a real controversy - it may show a child, which has never been seen before in the GTA series.
Here's What We Know
The second GTA 6 trailer lasts about three minutes and introduces us to the two main characters - Jason and Lucia. They find themselves at the centre of a conspiracy involving the state of Leonidas and are forced to rely on each other to survive. The video shows a variety of locations, from the sunny beaches of Vice City to dangerous streets and clubs, as well as details that emphasise the modernity of the game world, with active social life and realistic animation.
Along with the trailer, Rockstar has published more than 70 screenshots revealing locations, characters and events. One detail attracted the attention of players - in one of the shots depicting a street scene, a figure that looks like a child was noticed. This sparked heated discussions in the community, as there have never been children in the history of GTA due to the controversial nature of the series.
The discussion revolved around whether it was really a child or just a short adult character. If children do appear in GTA 6, their role will most likely be limited to cutscenes, and the game itself will not allow them to be harmed.
