The Mortal Kombat 1 fighting game has received a Definitive Edition - it looks like content support for the game is complete
NetherRealm studio unexpectedly released the full edition of Mortal Kombat 1, which indirectly confirms that content support for the fighting game is over.
Here's What We Know
Mortal Kombat 1 Definitive Edition is already available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series for $69.99 and on Nintendo Switch for $59.99.
The new edition includes all of Mortal Kombat 1's released content, including the Khaos Reigns story expansion and two Kombat Packs, as well as paid skin packs.
Usually video game developers release such editions when all additional content has already been released and there are no plans for further support. Earlier insiders claimed that NetherRealm Studios was disappointed with the sales of Khaos Reigns and has no plans to continue development of Mortal Kombat 1, apparently it turned out to be true.
